Sure enough. Sioux hockey is about blue collar over-age Canadians, not east coast divas who transfer out.
I live in Portland and skate with some guys affiliated with the team, will ask for a scouting report and share here.
Connor and USA Hockey have a tenuous relationship. No NTDP or WJC. One WC appearance and none since starting his pro career despite Winnipeg often hitting the links early.
Brock goes to the WC a lot and has lit it up a few times. Loves putting on the USA sweater and USA Hockey knows it.
D-Boss said something along the lines of people who want to play in 4 Nations and the Olympics should play in the WC if their team is eliminated.
Western, Miami, Clown, 1 game each
Duluth, Denver, CC, Omaha, ASU 2 games each
UND 3
Ten years of data went into that selection.
Wouldn't be surprised if they pick up the UND-UST game at the X.
Steal a win and get ready for the home stretch.
Interesting that no games at Lawson or Goggin (the two eastern time zone locations) are on CBSSN this year. Those Toledo vs Kent State basketball games must get better ratings.
I don't follow MNHS close enough to confirm, but my understanding is the "recruits" are from Duluth, so really no different than what happens in the cities with parents getting an apartment or using a friend's address. Either way, they've wanted to go to UMD for the most part.
The difference is Hermantown puts out high end D1. There are a few D1 players from GF and Fargo that just haven't been blue blood caliber. Locals prop up their program more than ours.
Posted right as the department announced they are opting out of the house settlement. Article quotes Chaves complaining that D2 schools don't have the same restrictions. Uncanny
