  1. Gophers had more talent but got out-coached. Sioux dictated the pace of the game. MN wanted to play their run and gun and couldn't get it going.
  2. Reaping what they sow. Same thing will happen to BU with their recruiting class. Glad we have a healthy mix of recruits and a program players don't want to leave.
  3. Tolvanen at 5 on that list. We gotta be after him. he's not following his brother to Marquette.
  4. Pulled a Dekeyser. Hope he has as successful of a career as Danny boy.
  5. Stecher and Cagguila, who call the two most important Canadian metros home, are giving more credibility to the NCAA path to Canadians who aren't blue chips at a young age. Glad we had both of them and hope to see more like them on our team and others.
  6. He serves as a reminder to be thankful for how good our coverage is
  7. I bet Dubay woke up to a call from his parole officer demanding he take a urine analysis. This sounds like he's fallen off the wagon.
  8. Not to mention the embellishments. Garteig got called out by the announcers, and the guy who Gardner ran into threw his stick across the ice after he was on the ice was ridiculous.
  9. A very appropriate post game song is "Party and Bull$hit" by Notorious B.I.G. All time classic.
  10. Pecknold sure comes across as a twat in the post game. Complaining about non calls? You gave up a shorty and scored on a 5 x 3. I don't care if they are willing to come to GF and don't ask for a return trip, keep him off the schedule.
  11. Watchespn.com No subscription required for the replay. there's also a alternative angles broadcast.
  12. likely addressed already in this thread, but two of the highlights were first, QU player saying "I don't give a F about you Boeser"....when stating his name shows you clearly do. Acknowledgement shows you've already lost the mental edge. Highlight two was right after their captain was taking repeated cheap shots at Schmatlz, Drake yelling at him "Who the F are you, shut up!" Both F bombs being caught on national television was great.
  13. Q still has some self-doubt in their minds as they think back to us ending their season last year in front of a partisan crowd. Hopefully they get deja vu in a hurry.
  14. Thank you whoever used my Lyft referral code last night.
  15. Awaiting the public apologies from the officials after that last game. Hopefully that resilience carries over.
  16. ESPN put the delayed penalty graphic up assuming that was a penalty on Terry
  17. Berry's better go "HAVE ANOTHER DONUT" on these refs after the game
  18. Cam looks dialed in. That was the biggest concern coming into the game. Let's get some make up calls.
  19. Have you ever been? It's driving distance from a 10 million person metro where their biggest alumni base is. I was referring to the fans in MN with no regional ties or anything like that.
  20. Most of whom likely have no ties to the school beyond watching them on television. My brother in law is ND alum and says the majority of ND fans he meets are bandwagon. Akin to rooting for Duke in basketball.
  21. http://mcfeely.areavoices.com/2016/04/05/und-hockey-ndsu-football-more-similar-than-different/ McFeely must think this is our year if he is trying to inspire togetherness rather than his usual dichotomous drivel. Key points he fails to make/is flat out wrong about: 1) hockey is regional? Youth hockey enrollment is up everywhere, especially non traditional markets. In the meanwhile, small towns are combining football teams to field enough players if not folding entirely. Also, I take it he doesn't have a passport. Hockey is played all over the world, football is only played here. Football isn't played at the Olympics, nor is there any sort of world championship. North Dakota has more in common with Canada than Cali/Florida, two of the biggest producers of football talent. 2) No mention of the accessibility of hockey. North Dakota's oil boom allowed people unable to afford to put their kids through hockey the chance. Socio-economics play a big role in who plays hockey. See: JJ Watt. Also, LeBron James could be a pro football player. Hockey? Maybe after a few years of skating lessons he could play high level beer league. 3) NDSU has recent success, but no long term tradition. Also, NDSU players in the NFL are the exception, not the rule. Anyone touting the NDSU stepping stone to the NFL will get laughed at (at best). UND has alum that are marquee players on multiple NHL teams. Wentz has the potential to be one, but so did Ryan Leaf and Johnny Football.
