Additionally, there’s a guy named Blais who is available!
-
Ageee. Time to move on from Cam.
-
I’ll find Gwazdecky’s phone number. Sandelin might be persuaded. And Cary Eaves does a helluva job wherever he goes.
-
First big test of the new AD: when does he pull the trigger on Berry. Second big test: does he hire the big time coach this program deserves?
-
Seems pretty clear by now that Berry either can’t attract talent or doesn’t have much of an eye for it.
-
George Gwazdecky would take the job. He can coach and recruit as much as we hate him. He would take the job in a heartbeat.
-
Nope
-
The team that controls the puck wins the game.
-
Would Sandelin be interested in coming back to Grand Forks?
-
Agree. The team just is not very good. They were better at the beginning of the season. Not getting coached up and not improving on their own. Don’t deserve to wear the jersey half the time
-
Wow look at that shot differential
-
Hire HAK!
-
PP
-
Did we get a shot on net on that OO?
-
Whatever happened to taking the body once in awhile instead of waving our sticks around?
-
With our lousy PP it doesn’t even matter when these penalties even out.
-
So let the guy walk in on the goaltender. Give him all the space he needs. I thought we had a defensive minded coach.
-
Yes Rieger definitely should be in the mix somewhere.

1. Penalty kill was not very good last night IMHO. Got caught out there way too long and weren't as aggressive as usual, except the one time when we gathered like a bunch of mites along the boards and left the guy wide open in front of the net. Maybe the Bulldog PP is just that good. They certainly moved the puck around and got us chasing and when we couldn't get a clear we ran out of gas resulting in their PP goals. 2. As others have noted, we just don't have many guys who take it to the net this year. A lot of shots from the outside but still not alot of tip opportunities. UMD did that very well a few times last night. 3. As usual we come out of the box in the first period like we are recovering from the flu, or a hangover. Better as the game goes along. 4. I can't fault Cam as much as others have for last night.

Duluth looks so much better than us. Especially on our nonexistent power play.
-
Listened to iHeartRadio tonight in Denver since it wasn’t on NCHC.tv Hennessey is a first rate radio announcer and the side color on what’s going on with the team and the league is so much better than the Midco TV rubes. Any real information is nonexistent with them. And Katie’s hair drives the wife insane.

One has to question whether this team will qualify for the tournament this year. Looked like Omaha has more top of the line players than we do and for now they should be ranked higher than us. Much higher. Have we lost our recruiting edge since Hak left? Are the current players deaf to the coaching staff? Will the new AD know anything about hockey? Seems like a lot of questions around our proud program.

Troy Terry from DU is going to play for the Olympic team and miss two NCHC League series. -
Yes Rieger earned a spot IMHO. With all the guys who aren't playing that well, why not.

Strong second on Travis Roche and Nick Naumenko. Matt Greene, McWilliam, Smaby, Schneider. More of my favorite defensemen. And some body you guys never heard of: Jim Cahoon. Centerman and Montreal Canadian draft choice from early 70's. F
