Chaves hired Baldwin partly because he had prior EWU connection. So we can use deductive reasoning to basically know it'll be Baldwin or someone with a UND connection.

Chaves hired Baldwin was he was only 36. Pretty young. It would be nice to hire a young coach who after 10 years at UND isn't at retirement age.

I like my head coaches to be fit like their players... Shows Self discipline and Motivation.... Unlike myself.

The second Bubba left the head coaching position at Duluth....they won a national championship. Despite the red flags....they picked that guy, over the guy who came to the Alerus with a lower division team and laid a whopping on UND.

If UND didn't hire from within so often maybe we wouldn't be in this position and only have one championship in a 100 years. The status quo is obviously not working.

How far back you gotta go to see UND hire a head coach without prior UND experience? Over 70 years...like leather helmet era football?!

D2 or another FCS coach....don't matter...can be a current coordinator but I'd like to see successful college head coach experience....someone with an upward projectary.
