Speaking only for myself, I go to or watch sporting events as entertainment, as an escape. If you make is less of an escape, I'll find other entertainment. Folks looking to make such statements, go for it, on your own time. You have the media contacts. They'll listen; they'll get it out there. But, when I'm watching a game (in person or telecast) I'm there for the game.
