Wisconsin: 1-4 when trailing after one. http://www.collegehockeystats.net/2021/teamstats/wism

Is that like the ice capades?

Please tell me UND was at a different hotel.
-
So they pulled it up an hour? Better than nothing I guess.
-
You couldn't clear that neutral zone with a truckload of Drain-o ... it's clogged up.
-
Move the game up to a 6:30 pm start to match the Saturday start time.

That second BSU goal looked close to a high stick from what I saw ... but they didn't look at it.

A self-elimination tournament.

2021 Minnesota Boys Hockey Tournament

Go Spuds. (Cheering for Ethan Frisch's brother Grant, and for Moorhead to get that "never won" monkey off their back.) -
Rocco with the hat in just 2:34 of clock. Predators franchise record for fastest hat trick.

< shaking head in disgust > E. S. P. N. ... Three ... < head still shaking in disgust > Why not just put it on ESPN 8: The Ocho.

I read somewhere the team came down Tuesday, dropped off gear, got tested and went to the hotel ... to come back and get tested Wednesday, to go back to the hotel. If you came back "green and green" you got to practice on the ice Thursday (today).

I disagree. The TiVo should have the WatchESPN app on it (like it has Hulu and Vudu and Amazon Prime). Midco has influence over TiVo (but admittedly not much over ESPN).
-
Thank you for all the suggestions. (I've done the PC to HDMI thing before.) That said, you all are missing my point: I pay Midco a lot of money for cable (and TiVo) and internet ... Why am I having to hink-a-jink around? The correct answer should be either: (a) Midco Channel xxx, or (b) the WatchESPN app should be directly on my TiVo
-
Midco cable (for UND hockey) and internet ... and instead of watching on the plasma I'll have to watch on an iPad?

Cruikshank is at CC. Crookshank was at UNH and signed.

Do not say "Biggie Smalls" three times.

Stupid CHN ...

Might as well put the Saturday schedule here too (courtesy CHN.com): Notre Dame vs. Boston College 1:00 ET Compare TV NCAA Regional Semifinal – Times Union Center, Albany, N.Y. TBD vs. TBD 3:00 ET Compare TV NCAA Regional Final – Webster Bank Arena, Bridgeport, Conn. Quinnipiac vs. Minnesota State 3:00 MT Compare TV NCAA Regional Semifinal – Budweiser Events Center, Loveland, Colo. TBD vs. TBD 4:30 CT Compare TV NCAA Regional Final – Scheels Arena, Fargo, N.D. Boston University vs. St. Cloud State 6:30 ET Compare TV NCAA Regional Semifinal – Times Union Center, Albany, N.Y. Nebraska-Omaha vs. Minnesota 8:00 MT Compare TV NCAA Regional Semifinal – Budweiser Events Center, Loveland, Colo. In CT that's ... Noon, 2:00, 4:00, 4:30, 5:30, and 9:00 ... and that's a blooming mess ...

Bemidji State vs. Wisconsin 1:00 ET Compare TV NCAA Regional Semifinal – Webster Bank Arena, Bridgeport, Conn. Minnesota-Duluth vs. Michigan 3:00 CT Compare TV NCAA Regional Semifinal – Scheels Arena, Fargo, N.D. Lake Superior vs. Massachusetts 6:30 ET Compare TV NCAA Regional Semifinal – Webster Bank Arena, Bridgeport, Conn. American Int'l vs. North Dakota 8:30 CT Compare TV NCAA Regional Semifinal – Scheels Arena, Fargo, N.D. My math says if you put all those in CT you get ... Noon, 3:00, 5:30, and 8:30 Assuming standard two hour thirty minute games there's little overlap.

... but at full-boat pricing.

Ivy gonna Ivy. Now scurry along peasant.
-
Bottom line: 1000, 1250, 1500 ... pick your number, they'll be eaten up by the four schools* and Scheels arena (don't kid yourself, they get an allotment) and the primary and secondary markets are pretty much out of luck. *Imagine being in MA or MI the last year. They've had no events. At least I got to a couple regular season and NCHC playoff games. Those folks are starving for any hint of normalcy.

Pondering ... The HPC will connect to Memorial Village via the HAWKway. One drawing in the docs filed with the city showed a future skyway from Memorial Village to the existing skyway tower. Once you're in the ramp, does that connect (sheltered, meaning at least a roof) to Swanson or the new Union? And what will the new Union have sheltered connections to?

I heard just 1000 fans per game at Scheel for the West Regional.
