That's exactly what most of us think about your act.

I figured all along that "Siouxrock" was actually somewhat famous. Here it turns out that "Siouxrock" was the inspiration for a national cartoon strip!
-
Michigan Tech dropped it's football program today (under "radar cover" provided by resignation of head hockey coach Mike Sertich).

Some of the good ideas from those meetings, well, I haven't seen them and I'm going to point squarely at .... not students, not the season ticket holders, but UND and Ralph Engelstad Arena, right now. Where are the lyrics to "Fight on Sioux" and "Stand Up and Cheer" on the ring or boards? I thought those were coming. I'm sure there are other things that were brought up as well. 'Diggler,' 'forecheck,' help a fogey's memory.
-
Those are the types I'm trying to fix.
-
Yeah, but 10674 (minus the already standing students) jumping out of their seats at 18:56 of OT last night had to look pretty intimidating.
-
I never understood how standing for a whole game makes you a "better" fan. I'll save you from the "back in the day" stories and just say it's fun to watch a lot of those standing fans on cell phones or scoping the crowd for a date later. The place was wide open rockin' this weekend. That's with empty student sections in the upper deck. Yes, empty. (Yes, it's spring break.) The noise was coming from the non-student areas. Those "old fogey season ticket holders" can shake some window panes. There are those of us working to get the new fans up to speed. But a lot of new fans are put off by some of the other stuff. (You know what I'm talking about.) Meet us even part way and that place will be complete bedlam.

As long as you admit it.

Pot to Kettle, Pot to Kettle, ....

Best line overheard leaving the arena Sunday regarding the Fighting Sioux and the new REA: It's not "where they play" now; now it's "home." And it happened on March 16, 2003, or 3/16 .... /03, if you will. Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Ralph 3:16 -- For he loved them so much that he gave onto them the crown jewel of hockey arenas to be their new home.
-
Yeah, but "Rulph" is gone now. Let him rest peacefully.
-
I'm not sure how accurate it is: 2003 Sioux Football Schedule
-
Ed Schmootz doesn't hang out at the Rulph. His "secret lair" is in the Siouxville Alleyus. Shoot. Did I just give that away?
-
Oh dear God! They got Clayton last night!
-
Oh no! His studies have caused BisonMav to be more infected than he realizes! Siouxrock, please, for the sake of all of us, stop the madness!
-
UND dealt head on with the problem. You can see (runway) one aspect. They've used arena cameras to detect "problem children" and banned them from the arena. Like somebody said: "Action talks, BS walks."

Where'd Carney go? (I figure he transferred somewhere.) Why'd Ross Brennan quit? Did the knee rehab not go well? Brian Lowe left? Is there a back-up punter now?
-
pantherfan: The highly recruited and regarded Gabe Gauthier of DU (played somewhere in the BCHL last season and was a scoring leader out there), has fewer goals and fewer points in the same number of league games in comparison to Prpich. (I hope I didn't curse us this weekend with that one.)

The Al is city property. The Ralph is (technically) on campus. I'm sure there are some tougher controls under those considerations.
-
A garden full of heated beer? Blech. I prefer cold. On a more serious note, the forecast doesn't look too bad to be outside Saturday. The ice has been questionable of late. I'm not sure I like the idea of a couple of warm days.
-
Did Greyeagle just put a "contract" out on Winny?
-
Having seen his penalty minutes from the BCHL, I thought "The Prp," short for "Prp-etrator," (the guilty one) would be a better tag. Now seeing him play, and looking in Websters which defines perpetrator as 'the one who accomplishes and does,' it still fits, and maybe better.

Are you sure it's not "The Minisoda Goopher Ticket"? I'm sure those kennel expenses were high, but then they suddenly dropped off for some reason ....
-
.... assuming they can find a conference. (There's that little detail again.)
-
I thought Roebuck and Glas like to practice on the court they play on. The Al wouldn't lend itself to that very well.
