AZSIOUX
canada scores on 5 on 3. tavares with some bad ass stick handling, turris with a assist as well. wow 3-
sagard
Canada ties it on 5 on 3. Minute and a half of PP time left. I'm a little torn. I don't want to see Canada unless it's for gold, but a Canada/Russia quarter final would be amusing as well.

Goon
Carmen 3 penalties in the last period and a half. Obviously Campion wasen't the ref because he dosen't call penalties against goofers Apparently the IIHF refs didn't get the memo from Lucia and the WCHA. I suppose the ref will get suspended after the game.

sprig
Finland up on Canada 1-0 after one. Weak goal given up by Canada. They (Canada) are getting loads of chances but haven't been able to beat the Finn G. He's giving lots of rebounds, bound to go in for Canada eventually. I'd like to watch Canada/US on Friday morning. sprig
1-1 after two; Tavares PP goal ties it. Just a few good chances each way after the tie; Canada looks like the better team, but one good bounce may win this for either team. If Finland wins, they will get last change against the US on Friday.

Siouxdonyms
Canada hits and empty net to take a 4-2 lead with under a minute. Looks like it will be Canada vs USA on Friday!
sprig
How would Finland (2-2) get the last change vs. the US (4-0)? Screwy tourney rule; US had last change in earlier game with Finland, so Finland would get it if they met in the medal round. US will get last change vs. Canada. Game winner was a good bounce for Canada, wide shot by Marchand tipped in by a Finn dman.
Sioux_Hab-it
Canada hits and empty net to take a 4-2 lead with under a minute. Looks like it will be Canada vs USA on Friday! Canada is still depending too much on their 17 year olds Tavares, Stamkos and Doughty. Not a formula for success in a tournament that 19 year olds usually dominate. Siouxdonyms
As very attractive women hand out Player of the Game awards, the Canadian announcers respond, "I tell you this, team's really enjoy Player of the Game awards." "Why? Because they get to see the nice tree there?" "Yeah, because they get to see the tree."
