The Whistler
Please tell me Gopher players don't actually do the jersey pop. God I hate that. Carman did it after the first goal tonight. End of 2nd one to one tie.

Craig Lowell
Yes they do but I think this was a joke. Oh I get that you were kidding this time. But that's pretty sad that the jersey pop has moved on to college hockey. Such a bush league move. Almost as much as Kessel holding his hand to his ear. The Whistler
So after Oshie's shot Frazee froze the puck. Okposo was in neutral ice at the time. He must have come over and given a shot to Oshie, it wasn't on the replays.

farce poobah
SOG 20-18 Sioux, IIRC. or, 14-9 SIoux in the second period. We actually started to get some flow there. Picking off a LOT of Minnesota passes in/from their own zone. We need to turn those into scoring chances....
Sioux-cia
2nd intermission...go VOTE. WHAT!!! and miss the interview with "the esteemed Doug Woog, the voice of Minnesota Golden Gopher hockey"? Oh wait, I only have radio, I can vote!!

Jupiter
So after Oshie's shot Frazee froze the puck. Okposo was in neutral ice at the time. He must have come over and given a shot to Oshie, it wasn't on the replays. Wasn't Oshie & Okposo tied up with each other right before that in the UND zone? I heard the crowd react a bit after that, but the camera was following the puck up the ice. It also explains why Oshie was trailing the play and got the shot.... Whatever happened between the two, Okposo took exception too.

Sioux-cia
I must be paranoid. Woog said both players doing well. About Philippe he said, "After letting in 5 yesterday, he's looking pretty good." I took that as a back door slam to our goalie.

HeidiSioux62
hey HeidiSioux where are you getting the stats on # of votes and % of votes for HB? Sorry about the late response, but my computer had a brain freeze - I was not a happy camper - both audio and board went down. go to http://www.hobeybaker.com/ballot/ and then go to the bottom of the ballot and beside the "vote" button is a button called "results" that will take you to the current vote count and percentages which are Eric Ehn, Jr, F, Air Force Academy 41500 33 % David Brown, G, Sr, Notre Dame 24659 20 % Ryan Duncan, So, F, North Dakota 20380 16 % John Curry, G, Sr, Boston University 20302 16 % Everybody else way way behind. We've gotten Ryan back in 3rd but it's still close so VOTE VOTE VOTE By the way, my computer had its brain freeze just as Tim Oshie was coming on to be interviewed by Hennessey. Did he have anything interesting to say?
The Whistler
Da Bears Only if the Bears are in Boston. I have to be honest though, I found it much more interesting the eighth time I watched it than the first seven.
BlackBear
Da Bears You're joking, right? Norton's a UNH guy. That's like expecting Woog to start acting like a UND homer because they're from the West.

Goon
I think wooger summed up how a lot of feel about all of the kids going to the pros so early. It kind of makes a guy sad that we don't get to see these young stars stay very long.
