ILOVEHOCKEY15 Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 I heard that Grant Narveson is out for the year with an achilles tendon injury, anyone know what exactly happend to him? Quote
hey_go_sioux11 Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 Of course not. Anywho... who are the defense on RR's lineup after Ladoucer and Galbreath? Chris Waind is a talented young sophmore who could go somewhere if he continues to develop as a defensive force. Quote

HockeyHigh Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Let's not exaggerate. Why not? Obviously the most productive thing for high schooler to do is go on a forum and talk his teamates up. Quote

GF_siouxfan Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 Someone should make a Topic titled: Red River Hockey 07-08~vs~New England Patriots-Whos the bigger powerhouse?! Quote
Diggler Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 The 07 Red River team would wipe the floor with the 1993 Bloomington Jefferson team. Quote
HockeyHigh Posted December 11, 2007 Posted December 11, 2007 I call a Williston team upsetting Red River in the state tourney this year. Quote

HockeyForShow Posted December 12, 2007 Posted December 12, 2007 Demers scores natural hat-trick to give Grafton a win over South 4-3 Quote
BringDeanBack Posted December 14, 2007 Posted December 14, 2007 Central - 4 West Fargo - 2 West Fargo very, very chippy team, numerous runs on Central players, checking from behinds, blatant trips open ice. Not much talent so I guess that is what they have to go with. Quote
HockeyHigh Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 If they aren't very good, being very chippy in front of a half-decent ref is going to destroy them against RR/GPR/South who can capitalize on mistakes such as those. Quote

Not much talent so I guess that is what they have to go with. It's good to see a Central fan calling someone else chippy. GFC has been a complete embarassment to the Redskin tradition the last couple of years. Its one thing to be down but have some class. I think they broke the all time record for misconducts last year. Hopefully this years crew will be better. Quote
siouxhockeyfan11 Posted December 15, 2007 Posted December 15, 2007 Central lost one of their players yesterday in Brandon Moody it would probably fall under the conduct detrimental to the team category. Quote

dumndummer Posted December 16, 2007 Posted December 16, 2007 certainly won't change how their season would've ended... the last 3 years has been fun to participate and read this forum thread, looked forward to it, but this year it is unbelievably bad that I am done. good luck to everybody Quote
Knight05 Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 I'm surprised there has been no talk of the Knights beating Fargo South the other night.... Quote
HockeyHigh Posted December 18, 2007 Posted December 18, 2007 Probably because GPR only beat Shanley 6-3, Fargo North beat Central, South beat FN 7-0, Central beat FS in OT, and Fargo North beat Devils Lake. Week of upsets, probably has everyone mystified. I don't see any consistency at all in any of the teams. Quote

That's why you have to show up to play the game. Do you wonder if the South players overlooked Central knowing that they got beat by North and South handed it to North pretty good? Maybe Central had overlooked North, but I think it's more of Central is a young team that is working hard every night. It looked like a 3-team race before the season started, has Central jumped into that race, maybe not as a 1, but as a top 4? Quote
