choyt3
Word of caution to those of you attending the game in Bemidji... pay attention! They have 4 foot glass on the sides and the puck comes over it in a hurry. We were at a game there a couple weeks back on "Park Rapids Night" at BSU and a 20-something girl got her forehead split open pretty severely. She was five rows up from the bottom and the puck went right over my wife's head, as well as my 3 year old. I'm sure that she received a large number of stiches. We were glad it wasn't one of our kids. They took the person that was hit out on a stretcher. Even if you are paying attention, the person next to you might not be. Be aware and stick up your hand for them, too, if you need to. Trust me, they'll appreciate it.
luapsided
Ive been looking for some photos of the arena to see what it looks like inside. Anyone have any or find any? Or seats too!? Now I really want to go! They really pack it up that much huh, over the limit?
Diggler
The seats are just plastic benches without backs. Each seat is pretty narrow. It's a total craphole that sure as hell isn't worthy of being a DI arena. That said, it's freaking awesome.

Goon
But we have a cool light show for an arena that size!!!! Now if we could only get rid of the PA guy, that guy is horrible, my wife said last season when he was lecturing the students it was like being in a Lyceum and the kids were acting up and we got a lecture from the principle. We have all day.

Millsy
Switching the lights off and on quickly is cool? Yes, they do shut the lights off, but leave them off during the whole show, believe it or not! A few of the WCHA teams that have made the trip to BSU have said it is pretty awesome considering the rest of the arena. I know they have quite a chunk of cash invested into it. Millsy
$19.99??? http://www.xoxide.com/multi-color-disco-ball-usb.html They don't have one of those!!! Maybe they should get one so we can be like St. Cloud! I thought I had heard it was in the neighborhood of $40,000, but I am not too sure anymore as that was two or three years ago and they have added a little more to it each year. Around 5000 seats? it passed and i believe it will be a civic center type with a hockey arena around 3,500 to 4,000 seats which will be great for bsu, MILLSY would know more on this though, i really hope they end up in the wcha in the near future but thats a topic for a different day lets play some fighting sioux hockey and be damn physical again this weekend and start friday out the right way, should be a great game up in b town
