Doc Holliday Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Some of you guys are unreal. As a Gopher fan, if any team makes a 3 goal comeback a habit, it's the Sioux. The Sioux are the perfect team that can knock one in and get the ball rolling. They've always done it, and it's not going to be long before the young freshmen learn the same thing and today is as good a time as any to have them learn. Knock one in in the first 10 minutes is the key. Once they get it to a 2 goal lead, the Sioux can then let it all hang out the last 10 minutes.......BC is just like any college team in that they're 19-22 year old kids and will be back on their heels once the Sioux begin their buzz. Advice for Sioux fans (and I quote "Journey"): Don't Stop Believing!!! Quote
Upper Deck Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 All right guys, it's rally-hat, change up jerseys, switch beer brand time. This Sioux team CAN score two goals in a minute . . . but maybe not today. Quote
7>4 Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 I'm with you Doc. We have them right where we want em. First 5 minutes of the third will be key. Let's Go Sioux!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote

UNDgosioux Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 This one if going OT, mark it down. 6-5 Sioux in OT!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
7>4 Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 I like the way you think. I am officially off work and on board for the third. Set your intention boys and let's make it happen. Go Sioux. Quote
puck swami Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 If you look at Parise in the key playoff knockout games in the last three seasons, I think he was at his best in 2004. Denver's late goal by Bull/Fulghum was an unmakeable save to knock the Sioux out of the Regional. Other than that goal, he was perfect. Last year in the NCAA final, Parise seemed pretty good, but Mannino was a shade better and Denver won. This year, Jordy looks to be off his game entirely. Very makeable saves. I wonder about his mental preparation... Quote

I wouldn't 100% say I'm "with you" But I'm surprised at the "it was a great season" talk.......20 minutes is a lot. Knock one in within 10 minutes and it's only a 2 goal game........2 goals can happen like that! The key, though, is getting it back to a two-goal game....... Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Sioux PP not having much success. BC just clogging the front of the net. Quote

As such, you and I will never totally see eye to eye. However, I did agree with your analysis. Quote
UNDgosioux Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 2 More to go, plenty of time. OT here we come! Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Huge save by Schneider on a break from I believe Kaip. Correction, Kozek. Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 With chances really slim of winning it why not put in Lamoreaux? It'll give him some good practice. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Show Sioux Pride now boys, regardless of the outcome. Quote
siouxhater Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Parisieve is living up to his name. Hakstol simply can't win the big one. Another Frozen Four choke job for the Siouxage. 0 for their last 3 Frozen Fours... I forsee an era of choking when it truly matters for the Siouxage as long as Hakstol is at the helm. One last thing... Smaby is a traffic cone. Quote
7>4 Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 You go with the one that brung ya. Bottom line, we aren't here without JPar. Still time left. Let's Go Sioux!!! Quote
