  1. Didn't like what you found, did you. I'm very surprised by the reactions on here to Piper's comments. Sioux fans hear Nazi comments like this on a regular basis and it usually doesn't get them this riled up. If only Sioux fans would have gotten this upset and worked up over Ralph's actions as they did over one comment on a message board they probably wouldn't see this brought up nearly as often.
  2. Jealous of what? My team plays Maine tonight. You guys are so infatuated with the Gophers that you think anybody who comes on here ripping the Siouxage must be a Gopher fan. Trust me, Gopher fans aren't the only ones who hate the Siouxage and their hick fans. Time for the annual end of the Siouxage season battlecry... "We may not have won a championship, but we won a lot of respect."
  3. Parisieve is living up to his name. Hakstol simply can't win the big one. Another Frozen Four choke job for the Siouxage. 0 for their last 3 Frozen Fours... I forsee an era of choking when it truly matters for the Siouxage as long as Hakstol is at the helm. One last thing... Smaby is a traffic cone.
  4. Kessel leads all freshman in scoring and has been incredibly consistent throughout the year. He hasn't had any long droughts without points like many freshman do. Toews' second half surge is too little too late, although he is very impressive right now. Kessel was good from start to finish, slightly better than Oshie. My top three would go Kessel, Oshie, Toews. The statements on this thread are ridiculous. Why is it that Sioux fans always think that any really hyped up freshman for the Gophs (Vanek, Kessel) are prima donnas who don't work hard and take shifts off and think of themselves before the team and the Sioux's freshman (Parise, Oshie, Toews) are hard working, two way players who never take a shift off? I can't stop laughing when reading these posts. It's a nice break in my day. When I want to hear complete cr@p during the day i come to ss.com, and at night i can listen to Sean Hannity for more complete cr@p. Or maybe this is what has all the Sioux fans so bitter: Thomas Vanek: 2003 WCHA ROTY, 2003 WCHA freshman leading scorer, 2003 WCHA Final Five MVP, 2003 NCAA West Regional MVP, 2003 NCAA Frozen Four MOP, 2003 NCAA Champion, 5-1 career NCAA tournament record. meanwhile... Zach Parise: 1-2 career NCAA tournament record (lone win against a vaunted Holy Cross squad), didn't even show up against Ferris State in NCAA's in 2003, and managed to never make it to a Frozen Four. But hey, he was a hard working, back checking, two-way player who never took a shift off! Ya got that going for you.
  5. Hey buddy, this thread was started by a Sue fan wondering why two North Dakota boys left the state to play for the Gophers. So you keep thinking it's the Gophers fans who have issues with where players come from. By the way, the obsession with the Minnesota hockey program on this site is absolutely hilarious. You people are seriously as bad as Duluth and St. Cloud fans. Although I can see how frustrating it must be to have Minnesota as your #1 rival and not have the Gophers feel the same way about you.
  6. Disappointing? 42 points in 32 games (1.31 pts/game) is disappointing? Toews has been more disappointing than Kessell.
