  1. 2 More to go, plenty of time. OT here we come!
  2. This one if going OT, mark it down. 6-5 Sioux in OT!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. She had a great year, it ended to soon though, and really only what happens in the playoffs matter
  4. I have been a regular at the MN boys and girls state tournaments over the years, and I think the talent level keeps getting better in the state, I saw alof of talented young ladies that hopefully are interested in the sioux. The one Wahlin girl from Crookston was really the talk of the tourney, she led the young team to the title game as she had an amazing first two days, where they looked to run out of gas a bit in the final. A lot of people said she was the best player in the whole tourney regardless of class, one coach said she was the most complete player he had seen in 20 years, and that many D-1 programs are aware of her and the Gophers have watched her play before and she went to their Summer camp last year, hopefully the sioux can land here and keep here close to home. Im sure the Sioux were scouting lots of ladies down there, it is great to see NW MN athletes excel as well
  5. ISU is gonna return to a national power soon.
  6. Who are some players that you think can step up in spring practice and prove they are going to be contributors next year?
  7. Ive watched a lot of girls basketball around here and there a bunch of talented, young girls that the Sioux would love to have. I am a long time resident from the TRF area and been a high school sports fan for a long time, and I have seen Crookston play in TRF this year and they have a very talented team as well as some good individuals. That Wahlin girl is really a true point guard, she makes all of her teammates so much better. I have heard from my friend in Crookston the Gophers and Wisconsin Badgers have sent people to here games to watch her this year, and they have all have come away very impressed for only a sophmore, the Gopher assistant coach who watched her play apparently said she doesn't think there is a better true point guard in the state, and that Wahlin has attened Gopher camp the last few years and been very good. So they must see something there, I haven't seen the ND high school girls play so I wouldn't know. I think NW MN is a hidden gem for girls hoops
