Siouxdonyms Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Oshie gets held in front of the net, and no call. Quote

Siouxdonyms Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 The fat lady has entered the building - what crappy D today. The week and a half off sure didn't help them. Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 This is going to be tough to come back against Quote
747Guy Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Great time for the WORST game of your season boys! Quote
GBpakrzz Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 What a sorry display of championship level hockey. Jordy left his game behind in GF. Very disappointing end to the year... Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Sioux have a 1:50 PP to start off the 3rd. Need a goal to get things going. Quote
puck swami Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Motherwell goal - straight shot that beat Parise cleanly. Should've probably made that save. Collins' first goal - good shot that picked the corner, but JPar saw it cleanly. Saveable, IMHO. Collins's second goal - nothing JPar could do - deflection BC fourth goal - Pure softie. Very makeable save. In short, UND is going to need better goaltending if they want to advance. It's that simple. Parise must slam the door the rest of the way... Quote

Give Finley the assist on goal # 4!!!! Horrible! Quote
SiouxFanatic Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 There's still one period left. Don't jump ship just yet Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Need to break the game into 5 minutes, getting a goal in each of those 5 minutes. The biggest thing is that we have to quit giving up the STUPID turnovers. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 There's still one period left. Don't jump ship just yet I'll never jump ship. Regardless of the outcome of this game, the Sioux turned things around to make it a successfull season for the second year in a row. Season's not over yet though. Still one period of hockey, which is time to play our game! Quote
dock Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 UND has way to much firepower to ever be out of it. It is going to be tough, but Oshie hit two posts in that period. It could easily be a one goal game. Quote
sprig Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Terrible softy, after a terrible unforced giveaway for the 4th BC goal. Line changes have been brutal. Sioux got within 1 with plenty of time to tie it that period. Need to do that again. Quote
Sioux R Kool Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 Sioux need a spark, would changing goalie help or hurt? Lammy? Quote
cheppi Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 NO jumping quite yet but this is terrible. 4th goal- possibly the worst clearing pass of the game. Great you killed the penalty but you can't stop playing. Get into the corner and work the puck up the board. Don't just flip it to the half boards becasuse you're under pressure. Where were the forwards to get that garbage? PS. if the shooter is on the end line and your D is in the crease cover the post. 5th goal- 10 sec in the period, I know your tired but either get off the ice quickly of at least pay attention to their goalie making the quick pass up ice. If this is the case stay put and D-up frustration Quote
puck swami Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 For the Sioux to have a chance, they are going to need to own the puck in the BC zone and get more traffic in front of Cory, and perhaps Hakstol might want to go with Lammy the rest of the way. It's not impossible, but it's not looking very good for the Sioux today. Quote
