Diggler Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 Listening to Woog talk and he reminds us of how good of a coach Dave Hakstol is. He has a big part in bringing the freshman in and in how well those freshman are playing right now. He doesn't get alot of credit because of the incredibly high expectations we all have for the Sioux, but he deserves some. Quote

GBpakrzz Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 I couldn't be more proud of this Sioux team. The coaching staff has done a fantastic job of developing the freshman. This team got better and better as the season progressed. Jordy is playing as good as a goalie can. I guess I'm at a loss for words. I like our chances heading into the big dance. The boys are good....real good. Off to bed... I hafta get up at 0500. UGH! Quote

Diggler Posted March 19, 2006 Posted March 19, 2006 SCSU deserves alot of credit though. They should've lost last night. I mean they gave up seven goals to the Gophers. You don't give up seven goals to the #1 team in the country and win. They did though. Then when UND went up 5-1, SCSU could've just quit as realisticlly, they weren't going to be able to win the game and therefore they really had nothing to play for. Their season was over when this game finished. They didn't give up though and instead took it to the Sioux in the third. Quote
