Siouxdonyms Posted January 29, 2006 Author Posted January 29, 2006 3 saves by Parise to keep the game tied at 1. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 29, 2006 Author Posted January 29, 2006 Same type of game as last night right now. Sioux need to do something to change this game. Need to do it quick. Don't wait until the 3rd! Quote
brianvf Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 4+min left in 2nd. 1-1 still. Where has the Sioux offense gone? Quote

brianvf Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Has it shown yet this weekend? Only twice, and then it went away again. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 29, 2006 Author Posted January 29, 2006 Only twice, and then it went away again. I wouldn't call that an offense, but two individual players making plays. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 29, 2006 Author Posted January 29, 2006 TH says it best though. The games easy from where we are. Isn't that the truth! Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 29, 2006 Author Posted January 29, 2006 End of the 2nd period. Sioux need to get something going. There's not much else to be said. Can't put off wins for another night. Need it tonight. Quote
brianvf Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 End of the 2nd. The Sioux need to win the 3rd period and score some goals to salvage the weekend! Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 I wouldn't call that an offense, but two individual players making plays. Both goals this weekend have been by the fabulous frosh, Oshie and Toews. We need the seasoned players to step forward and do something. What has happened to Sparky lately? Quote
dakotadan Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 I haven't been impressed with either team this weekend. The only people that have really been consistent are the goalies. Quote
brianvf Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 SOG are 29-20 Sioux. Gotta start burying those chances!! I agree about Sparky. He has been absent from the scoresheet in the last few series. Need him, Stafford, Zajac, Porter, Prpich, etc to step up. Anybody. Quote

sprig Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Again early in period 2 Sioux created some great chances. Little or nothing however in the last 10 minutes. Sioux are due for a deflection to find the net. Can't remember the last one, but they must have had at least one against Mankato. Schmidt has put away the whistle; don't imagine he'll get it out for the third. Quote
DamStrait Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Let's go boys! Drip with desire and take control of the game NOW! (Please) Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 29, 2006 Author Posted January 29, 2006 TH predicts Porter with the game winner. I'll stick with a freshman. Any freshman! Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 TH predicts Porter with the game winner. I'll stick with a freshman. Any freshman! If we only get goals from freshmen this weekend then I would say that would be a cause for concern. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 29, 2006 Author Posted January 29, 2006 If we only get goals from freshmen this weekend then I would say that would be a cause for concern. I think that cause for concern has been there all season, as it hasn't seemed like any upperclassman has taken the role of leader on this team. Something we badly need! Quote

Something we badly need! Agreed, just look at the teams record when Stafford scores and when he doesn't. Quote
SiouxPride0303 Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Oh My GAWD!!! Parise you lucky lucky... Quote
dakotadan Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 That little showing was crazy. I was definately jumping around the living room swearing on that rush. Quote
