SFSIOUX#1 Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 I guess it is too much to expect that we could have 2 minutes without a penalty. From my view, another weak call. Quote
7>4 Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 It still amazes me that the best college hockey conference in the country has the worst fricken refs. Granted, I am not watching the game but it sounds from the posts that there are a number of weak calls. Quote
redwing77 Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Whew. Escaped. Good kill. We're playing better. All we need to do is to play smarter hockey and we'd be doing much better. Quote
choyt3 Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Both AR and Campion saw it. Still stick to what I'm saying that we don't need to take the risk to put ourselves shorthanded. I disagree. To nullify Potulny and, in this case, Irmen, you need to hit them every chance you get. That is when the Sioux are playing their best. You can't not hit them in hopes that if you do a penalty might be called. Hits from behind are not acceptable and should be called. This should have been called something else and been a two minute penalty. Quote
Sioux-cia Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Watkins sprayed Frazze. Lucky no fight IMHO Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Watkins sprayed Frazze. Lucky no fight IMHO I'm surprised Frazee didn't overreact after that, like he did when Zajac gave him the love tap. Quote
Diggler Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 I liked how Frazee nearly fell over from Watkins spraying him. Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Gopher penalty...it was a weak penalty, but that's no surprise with the refs tonight. Quote
choyt3 Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 who do you play next week? Minnesota State Mankato (no comma) Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted January 15, 2006 Posted January 15, 2006 Another weak PP for the Sioux. Lee needs to move the puck a lot quicker. He gets it and all of the Gophers have time to reset their positions. Quote
