At the end of the day, you still want to bring in the best players you can and deal with the possibility of them transferring later. It does feel like building one-year rosters is the reality now, and I think that’s the direction UND is heading. The challenge is figuring out the right mix. Do you lean on older, experienced players from lower levels? Target P6 guys who haven’t found consistent playing time? Take shots on high school recruits who might not have been realistic options before the portal era? It’s probably some combination of all of that, and then some. 1 Quote
