Siouxdonyms Posted October 29, 2005 Author Posted October 29, 2005 Sioux women's hockey team loses 3-2 to Wisconsin. It's always sweet to see the Rodents lose, regardless of the outcome of the Sioux game, but it does make a Sioux win that much sweeter. Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 Sounds like the Goofs are down 3-2 at the National Concrete Center... It is final Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted October 29, 2005 Author Posted October 29, 2005 The Gophers are a young team. I don't know why they were ranked #1 preseason...I for one expected them to start slow...(plus that seems to be the Gophers formula in general; sort of a "they don't count until January mentality) That's pretty much been the pattern for the past 4 years. Siouxdonyms Posted October 29, 2005 Author Posted October 29, 2005 I've learned something new tonight: Stafford and JPar are in a band named, "Red Seal Peach" Maybe they should sing the National Anthem. Can't be any worse than some of these yahoos. Quote

Siouxdonyms Posted October 29, 2005 Author Posted October 29, 2005 Strong 1st period held up for the Sioux, who played a terrible 2nd period. Had two great opportunities with 2 five minute majors, which they squandered away with penalties. They did come back to have a stronger showing in the 3rd, but still didn't have the spark they did in the 1st. Quote
dakotadan Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 Rightfully so Parise got the PS Doors player of the game. Quote
margaritaville Posted October 29, 2005 Posted October 29, 2005 nice job on the win to open the WCHA season. Let's keep up the good work. Great night by Parise...again. Quote
