Sparky

Great to hear that Sparky is skating. We definitely need him back and scoring before we lose players to the World Juniors. Speaking of injuries, the wheels are still coming off the Goofie Machine as according to the GPL forum Hagemo's shoulder injury has returned and that shoulder surgery and a medical redshirt may be in order. Perhaps Sagaard can provide more details.

I would like nothing better than to see the Goofies so called "dream season" shatter and for the Sioux freshman to steal the Kessel and Co. thunder. These freshman seem to be doing quite well so far and I can't wait to see my first game in person tomorrow night.

I'd personally rather beat them straight up, with full rosters.

I think the Spirko and Irmen injuries will ultimately benefit both teams, as younger players are getting opportunities they wouldn't otherwise have. Later, plug in the recovered star and the team is that much better. This assumes the team in question wins enough along the way to make the second half matter.
