It probably feels good for the MI forwards to score all those goals, but blowouts like those do nothing for their collective team development. Qualities like resiliency, focus, discipline & teamwork aren't forged in 10-2 wins.

Michigan teams of late haven't exactly been known to be strong defensively (there's a reason why Perron transferred there ;) )...once they start actually playing tough teams I think they'll be exposed a bit more.
Next week when they play WMU will be a much better barometer of how good they are this year.

Same thing with Duluth.  UMD's top line has been lights out so far, but UMD's schedule has been anything but difficult.
The next two weekends with Duluth will be much different, traveling to both UMN and UND.  I'm interested to see how UMD and UND match up in the NCHC opener...with us having last line change, pairing up our best defensive group against their Plante line will be key.  If you shut that line down, you're good I'm guessing.  Our depth should hopefully be a big benefit.

AFA should just retire the Space Force jerseys

Wasn’t it Frank who was recently asked why he had 5 goalies on his roster and he responded that he’d have 6 if there wasn’t a roster limit?

I’m sure Frank Serratore would be the first to acknowledge that Air Force isn’t loaded with high end blue chippers but my God, losing 11-2 at home? That’s downright unacceptable and embarrassing, especially with how they were able to hang with Denver just a week earlier.
