3 inches shorter. Will be interesting to see what happens once he’s on a scouting report

Yeah true. I guess more in the fact just straight shooter and that’s about all they can do on either end. I could be shorting Norman a bit but for the most part that’s true.

Is Zack Kraft just Matt Norman reincarnated?

More like Eaglestaff when he was a freshman but Kraft plays better defense than traysen did as a freshman

Holy cow let’s settle down comparing him to Treysen. Kraft had multiple DNPs and then played well against Alabama, a team who did not have him on the scouting report. He’s carried that confidence over to a couple of really bad non d1s. Lets just let it play out before we compare him to the guy who will lead the Summit in scoring this year

Kraft has been playing very well the last 3 games, but that might be a bit of an overreaction based on 3 games. With 2 of those games coming against non-D1 teams.

Take out the non d1s and in 8 games he has 12 points, 0 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal. Good 3 game stretch to build his confidence but some need to slow down with comparisons

Only comparing the two as freshman.  Treyson as a freshman was primarily only a 3 point shooter and then his game grew each year after.  I don’t think anyone is comparing Kraft the freshman to treyson the junior, it’s no comparison

To be fair

Kraft has taken 28 shots for the season - 21 the last three games making about half.  There may be a place where he can help out from the three. A made three is a made three. someone has to guard him which can loosen things up. Not saying more or less but I can see how he can help.

Other than 5 inches, positional flexibility, facilitation, rebounding, and 3 point volume, they are very comparable as freshman!

Yup

wasn’t he a scorer - from valley city

Idk let’s see Kraft run a pick and roll and get 2 feet in the paint before we make comparisons

Just for shits and giggles I looked up boschees career stats at Kansas

listed his senior year at 6’3”, freshman year was 6’1”

averaged 15 points a game , shot 42% from the field, shot 40% from the three, 2/3 of his shots were three pointers, average two rebounds a game and 25 minutes a game. 3 assists a game

i say there is a spot for a 6’2” three point shooter at UND

not saying Kraft will be a star but he was a stud shooter in high school. Yes, very early but let’s see what he can do. I wouldn’t be surprised he turns out a good recruit.

I am not related just follow nd high school sports

I don’t think anyone is saying he can’t be good. Hes scored in 2 of 8 games against D1 opponents. Only 2 of his shot attempts have been inside the 3 point line. Let’s just let him play. No need to compare him to Treysen or Boschee.
