NBA expansion down to 3 cities Seattle, Vegas, and Mexico City.

Adam Silver teases three potential NBA expansion cities - Yahoo Sports

So, which cities would be in the running to add an expansion team?

"There's been some discussion about going back to Seattle, potentially," Silver confirmed. "Las Vegas, no doubt, is very interested in a team. Mexico City one day.

"But there's lots of other U.S. cities and Canadian cities, frankly, that have reached out to us to tell us they'd be interested."

Seattle and Las Vegas long have been rumored to be the league's next two expansion cities, while Silver has suggested on multiple occasions the NBA is looking to add another international team outside the Toronto Raptors. The league has played at least one regular-season game in Mexico City in every season since 2016-17 (with the exception of 2021-22 due to the COVID pandemic), so perhaps that would be the NBA's next frontier after welcoming Seattle and Las Vegas

would be interesting to see if the nhl jumps the nba on mexico city like they did with vegas.....

seattle and vegas are no brainers for the nba right now...not yesterday

I don't see the NHL putting a team in Mexico City. The Coyotes owner wanted to play a game here and there in Mexico, but they might now win the land auction with how things are going.

Fisher being incompetent as the A's owner and with there being not enough money to get their stadium in Vegas. Maybe MLB forces a sale, and they move to Mexico City, the A's are wanting to play 10% of their home games played outside of Vegas yet there in no stadium deal in place.
