HockeyMom Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Michigan goal...under review. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No goal. Score stands at 1-0. Quote
Smoggy Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Does anybody else find this game really hard to watch. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Yes, but not for your reasons. I think that the arena is too dark. Plus, the camera work has not been very good. It's really hard to follow the play. Thank goodness that Thorne is watching and commentating. Quote
HockeyMom Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Hey they're talking to Travis Roy. You'd think it would be hard for him anytime that BU plays the Sioux. Or maybe not, he's a pretty positive guy in light of what he's been through. Quote
Sioux-cia Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Thank you God, Robbie didn't end up like Travis Roy. Quote
7>4 Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Hey they're talking to Travis Roy. You'd think it would be hard for him anytime that BU plays the Sioux. Or maybe not, he's a pretty positive guy in light of what he's been through. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> What a class guy Travis Roy is. Giving his best to Robbie Bina and saying how well he was treated by ND fans and players. Quote
NDFAN Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 I agree that the camera work and lighting are tough. This isn't as boring as teh DU/CC game las week ScoreEEEEE Quote
Smoggy Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 WHAT A TIP FOR GENOWAY!!!!!! 2-0 Sioux!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote
HockeyMom Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Who is Travis Roy? and GOALLL! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> '95 BU player that hit the boards at a freak angle and broke his neck 11 seconds into his college hockey career and left him paralized. Was against the Sioux. Quote
Smoggy Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Who is Travis Roy? and GOALLL! <{POST_SNAPBACK}> You must be pretty young. He played for BU and on his first shift tried to check Mitch Vig and missed. Roy was paralyzed. Not sure on the year. He has a great book called 8 seconds. That was his college hockey career. Quote
UND95 Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 I really like how hard the guys are playing thus far. I tell ya what, they have really been playing some great hockey the last part of the season. I agree...Travis Roy is a very classy individual. Go Sioux!!!!!! Keep the heat on boys. Quote
Schmitzzz Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 I agree that the camera work and lighting are tough. This isn't as boring as teh DU/CC game las week ScoreEEEEE <{POST_SNAPBACK}> The Centrum is a rat hole of an arena. From where they have to position the cameras I think it makes the camera work difficult. Quote
NDFAN Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 I think our guys will adjust to this style of reffing. So far so good. Not many big hits yet. Quote
Smoggy Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Bad timing on this penalty for Jones. I got a bad feeling. We can't let them or their fans get into this game. Quote
#1siouxfan22 Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 Yeah, I remember that now. Sad thing. I didnt know that was his name. I just remember watching that hit. Quote
Smoggy Posted March 26, 2005 Posted March 26, 2005 I like Clement's comment on how Parise plays different than his rep of giving rebounds. Quote
