F'n Hawks Posted December 11, 2022 Posted December 11, 2022 I understand Sather was trying to sub offense/defense in OT but there were times we were stuck with a poor offensive lineup. 1 Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted December 11, 2022 Author Posted December 11, 2022 We can argue youth, but they have closed games already this year. Free throws were a big issue yesterday but to me, the offensive rebounds given up in key moments was the difference. They gave up a 5 point possession in because they failed to block out on a missed free throw and Tyson made them pay with a 3. In overtime UND gave up 3 offensive rebounds in the last two minutes and Seattle made them pay each time. Two of those were in the last 19 seconds of the game. Secure one of those rebounds and do something with it on the other end, you win. Simple as that. 1:56 to go: Chatfield misses 3, Trent actually gets the rebound but can't secure it. Dawson makes a layup to make it 76-75 Seattle 19 seconds to go: Grigsby misses layup, UND unable to grab rebound and goes out of bounds, Seattle ball. They hold for last shot 3 seconds left: Tyson misses shot short, Schumacher isn't boxed out and ball falls to him and nails the winner. Quote
