UND finished second in the final USCHO poll last spring to an ECB* team (Cornell). Still trying to decipher that one. There's no reason to think a #1 in a poll won't get seeded lower than an ECB team like BC or BU come season's end and tourney time. Or if it's UND UMn 1-2 they'd love to seed the moldin' rodents over the NCHC to acknowledge the great and lofty battles survived in the B1G. Snarky? Cynical? Yup, and yup. It would be fun to have a weekly poll that would rank the 20 worst college hockey teams each week.
