jloos
The season is coming up pretty quick. Does anyone know when and if they are having an inter-squad scrimmage like last year?
lawkota
My pocket schedule says Meet the Sioux is October 5 at 5:30 pm for both men's and women's team.

dagies
Seems a bit dangerous to be having a game after only 1 practice, doesn't it? I get concerned about injuries.

The players will have been skating. The captains are able to hold practices. There was an article in the Heraldo today about this.
dagies
Yeah, I was aware of that. I just wonder if they will be ready for playing in a competitive game (game shape).

They may not practice on the ice, but they have been dry land conditioning since the beginning of school (or earlier than that). Some have been working out all summer long. Some have been in NHL Prospect camps, some at hockey camp, and our freshmen were probably studying the plays off ice.

That is a trademark of Sioux teams. On the other hand I haven't heard who won the so called "Iron Man" competition. Anybody know?
