radionews
Haven't been to the Final Five since '99 at the Target Center. Where is a good spot to go between the games Friday & Saturday? Can't imagine it would be too fun to stay at the "X" between the games......
WPoS
bars will be PACKED by the X....FYI...that is why I plan on tailgating! WPoS
Snake
There should be plenty of activity at Tom Reid's or McGovern's. They're a block or two down from the X.

Let'sGoHawks!
Tom Reid's is a fun place. I was there after a couple Wild games this year...wearing a Sioux jersey along with my friend. It is a cool place and a few blocks from the arena. Maybe Frank Mazzacco and his hairpiece will make an appearance. He probably knows better though as all WCHA fans other than Goofie fans hate him and the Wooger.
MinnesotaNorthStar
To find Gopher tailgate...look for a large group of people wearing hideous maroon and gold jersies...there will be a few good looking green and white ones in the mix. Also, sharp objects (aka darts) will be being thrown at beer cans.
01grad
I think I was at McGoverns last year between games and it was a blast, can't remember though for sure. Perhaps that is why I just now have restored my funds to enable me to do it again. I can't wait! The X will be my home away from home starting this week with High School hockey, then the Wild and then 5 college games!!! Seriously though I remember hearing that the majority of Sioux fans gathered at Great Waters Brewery. They had a post game celebration one of the nights scheduled, though there wasn't much to celebrate last year.

Greyeagle
Depends what you are looking for regarding food/atmosphere. There are several great places to eat across Rice Park from the X: Kincaids, Pazzaluna, & The St. Paul Grill to name three. I would recommend going to this site for more information. We should propose an establishment as the official Sioux hangout between games for any Sioux fan interested. It's always a great time to enjoy adult beverages with avid Sioux fans. Great Waters Brewery sounds good to me, but I'm always open to other suggestions.

BTW - They have cheap beer and the best Coney's in the Twin Cities - so I'm only half kidding.
MafiaMan
The Gopher Bar! Ha ha! That's right down the road from where I work. A place I might suggest that is a little further walk than Tom Reid's is a jaunt in the other direction of 7th Street...Wild Tymes.
