PCM
So are you saying that pretty boy Vanek is a cancer in the locker room? Me? Heavens no! However, I do believe that Hennessy implied it.
sioux fan in phoenix
Anyone else here Hennessy's between-periods comment about locker room problems at Minnesota? He said that when they were having problems early in the year, it was because of one player. He said he didn't want to point fingers, but it was someone from Austria. I heard that also & I think it's common knowledge around the league that he's not exactly a team player. If I were Lucia, I wouldn't miss him much if he goes pro next year. That kind of attitude can be cancerous in a locker room.

Vanek loafs up and down the ice and only plays offense. Now mind you he is a great offensive talent but he has no defensive skills what so ever. To boot this season he has taken a ton of retaliation/knuckle head penalties. I think he is selfish but that is just my HMO.

Goon
Brandt had about a .959 % save percentage this weekend stopping 47/49 shots this weekend. I guess we know who the number one goaltender is now.

Schmitzzz
Good Parise... how about that Parise? ANYONE who watches him play has got to become a believer. I don't care if he scores 3 goals or gets shut out on the night, he is ALWAYS just incredible. In all of my years of watching the Sioux, no one who has put on the Sioux sweater compares. We have had some great ones. Tony, Bob, Greg, Jason, Jeff, ect., every game I watch Zach play just blows my mind. He just CAN'T be that good. Goon
Here are the present PWR numbers. UND is back in first after a sweep of UMD. Its amazing that the WCHA could have 6 to 7 team in the NCAA. I am hoping for 6, 7 could be a stretch because of the two auto bid in the lesser leagues. 1 North Dakota 26 2 24-6-3 .7727 1 .6201 2 Boston College 25 1 26-4-4 .8235 2 .6106 3 Maine 24 3 24-7-3 .7500 3 .5798 4 Minnesota-Duluth 23 6 22-10-3 .6714 4 .5760 5 Michigan 22 5 23-10-1 .6912 5 .5714 6 Minnesota 20 12 20-12-3 .6143 6 .5652 7 New Hampshire 19 14 18-11-5 .6029 8 .5533 8 Wisconsin 18 7t 19-9-7 .6429 7 .5565 9 Ohio State 16 17t 20-14-0 .5882 9 .5500 Denver 16 7t 20-10-5 .6429 11 .5406 Miami 16 11 19-11-4 .6176 13 .5402 12 Notre Dame 15 16 17-11-4 .5938 12 .5405 13 St. Cloud State 14 17t 18-12-4 .5882 10 .5431 Colgate 14 9 19-10-5 .6324 19 .5212 15 Michigan State 13 22 20-15-1 .5694 17 .5298 16 Colorado College 12 20t 18-13-3 .5735 14 .5356

PCM
Now which team is the hottest in college hockey? It must be the one with weak goaltending and no offensive defensemen that was supposed to buckle under the pressure of a tough second-half road schedule. Put that in your pipe and smoke it, Wooger!
