Bison06 Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 It's called get a job and buy some eggs Couldn't agree more. At NDSU we had nutrition counseling from our strength and conditioning coach as well as a summer menu and grocery shopping list. My guess is the S&C coach at UND has something similar in place. The summer requirements for workouts are not THAT demanding. 1.5 lift daily and 1 hour 7 on 7 drills a few nights a week. Players should be able to make due with no problems. Get a job and buy some eggs. Couldn't have said it better myself. Quote
geaux_sioux Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 It's also a good way to keep the players humble, they're already given enough. Quote
UND1983 Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Ever since Ed O'Bannon told them they are all starving college athletes forgot how to feed themselves and became instantly too poor to buy food. Quote

UND1983 Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 Ed OBannon has a good point and that is not it. Yes I know. I generalized a wee bit with Ed. But this all came up lately and I feel it was spurred on by the COA discussion. Quote
