geaux_sioux Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 This kid had his shirt pulled for no reason and had barley been used in his career. When he was used he was much maligned. He's put on weight and has become a much more useful RB. The coaches are also doing a better job than the previous admin of using his skills. These last three games he has been a breath of fresh air. He's worked his ass off. He's earned it. Quote
darell1976 Posted November 9, 2014 Posted November 9, 2014 Garmin did great, too bad the passing game wasn't clicking or the offense would've had a monster game. Quote

SWSiouxMN Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I'll admit I have been very critical of Jer on this message boards for the past few years but I'll give credit where it is due. He has played very well these past few games. Lets hope he can finish strong with back to back 100 yard rushing games. Quote

As you mentioned, he's had very little playing time the first three years of his career and probably had as much reason to quit as anyone, but had the character to stick it out. Had he quit, he never would have experienced the success that he's experienced so far this season. I think there's a lesson here for anyone thinking of quitting anything, because you never know what might be just around the corner. 1 Quote
Nodak78 Posted November 10, 2014 Posted November 10, 2014 I have also been impressed the last few games. I really like the way he protected the ball on the long run where the defense was catching from behind. He was not going to give up the ball. Quote
