Between the incident between Groenewold and the Manvel Fire Department (noted above, the Bismarck Tribune link from UND92,96) and this:

Groenewold pleaded guilty in 2008 to a misdemeanor assault charge for an incident involving his wife, state Sen. Connie Triplett. He was sentenced to one year of probation and ordered to complete 30 hours of community service.

I guess I know everything I need to know about Groenewold. I'm not sure how he kept his job after both of those.
