sioux2013
Great start so far. Keep it going.
UND1983
They look better tonight, actually have some movement vs. the zone that ISU is playing.
UND1983
UND up 39-32 with 3:50 left in half. Traylor just gave his guy two offensive rebound put backs in a row.
UND1983
UND is destroying this zone tonight. Movement all over, open shots are being knocked down. Antwi has hit two in a row and looks good. 46-35 with 1:27 left.
UND1983
46-37 at half.
sioux2013
We play better team ball when we are zoned. Been that way for several games that teams have zoned us. Just need to keep it going.
Sioux04
This is a whole different team right now. We are throwing good, crisp passes and not forcing shots When we click on all cylinders like this, we are a force to reckon with. Huff has been solid on both sides of the ball. Antwi came in and got a couple of nice baskets. It was a very fun half to watch (unlike the 2nd period of the hockey game).
UND1983
If UND would decide to rebound on the defensive end they would be up by 20.
sioux2013
Things are starting to get out of control with us and the refs. Nash is just not effective against a zone.
sioux2013
Outrebounded 30-10 so far. BOX out.
UND1983
18 offensive rebounds for ISU. EIGHTEEN. UND has two rebounds in 2nd half and are now losing. Figure it out Jones, DO SOMETHING!
sioux2013
Players do not know how to box out. Watch when they shoot a free throw our guys are pushed right under the basket instead of pushing them away from the basket. Basic fundamentals these guys dont know how to do. SiouxFan100
A team should expect to get 4-8 rebounds on missed free throws. UND has 14 rebounds for the game. wow
sioux2013
23 offensive rebounds we have given up tonight so far.
sioux24/7
Well I guess I am okay with going 2-2 on the four game road stretch. 3-1 was very doable but I figured 2-2 was more likely.
sioux2013
Amazing win giving up a million offensive rebound. Worst rebounding effort I think I have ever seen but its a win on the road.
NODAK13
Much better team effort on the offensive end tonight. Shots were distributed very well to all the players. Stefen, Schuler and Antwi all had good nights and contributed the way they should as long as they get shots and tonight they got shots. A lot of good things accomplished tonight with the exception of rebounding. How did we win giving up that many rebounds?
sioux24/7
So who all watched this game? I only watched the first ten minutes or so and Huff absolutely went off in that time but must have cooled down quite a bit. From looking at the box score it looks like we did a horrendous job of boxing out especially on Solarin because he out-rebounded us alone! I am pleased with the playing time that Stefan had in this game and it looks like he played quite well when he was in. Anyone know why we start Salmonson? He is in there for about two minutes and then Traylor comes in for him.

Maybe Salmonson starts over Traylor because Traylor is always in foul trouble and this holds him back from getting even earlier fouls, who knows. Salmonson, Traylor and Calcaterra not one of them know how to box out and get a rebound but at least with Traylor you get some down low scoring to offset some of the offensive put backs he gives up. What could have been with Brekke I still wonder and every game I watch his loss is bigger and bigger. Outside of Huff I believe Brekke is the next biggest loss for this team to have.
