Shawn-O Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 Man, this St. Cloud color guy is hysterical. Talk about a fan getting to call a game. The play-by-play guy is excellent. Best I've heard in college hockey, except for TH of course. Quote

jimdahl Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 FYI-- Just popped in to monitor how the new message board server is holding up under the weight of an actual game-time discussion. Looks like you vultures are overloading it a little bit so response times might not have been perfect tonight and intermittent timeouts were possible. Sorry about that. The main problem seems to be that its low on memory when it spawns dozens of web server processes to respond to the additional simultaneous requests. I'll continue to monitor the situation during peak times like this and try to come up with remedies. I'll start looking into what it would take to bump up the memory a little bit. Please do give me feedback (PM is fine) as to your own personal experiences with the performance. Quote

CoteauRinkRat Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 Potulny draws a questionable checking from behind major and DQ Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 Funny, Adam calls a checking from behind, when the BU player actually hit him from the side, which all the replays showed, but seems to swallow his whistle at other points in the game. Call should have been boarding, no doubt it was a penalty, but not a major Quote
Wilbur Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 That might be the worst checking from behind penalty I've ever seen. Of course Potulny laid on the ice to sell it, but was able to make it back to the bench under his own power..... Quote
