ticklethetwine Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 O'D has a possible separated shoulder? Or worse a broken collar bone. which would be about 6-8 weeks.
siouxforeverbaby Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Mavs are leading the Bulldogs, 3 to 1
siouxforeverbaby Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Or worse a broken collar bone. which would be about 6-8 weeks. true. I am just going off of what the tv is saying
burd Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 O'donnel gets checked into the boards, dislocates his shoulderand the refs don't call anything. Go figure. That is how this night is being called. Why should a penalty be called just because he is hurt after being checked into the boards?
siouxforeverbaby Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Why should a penalty be called just because he is hurt after being checked into the boards? Because 1. Checking into the boards is illegal anyway...that is called boarding. 2. A good portion of the time, a ref will call a penalty when someone gets hurt, but not always.
ticklethetwine Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Why should a penalty be called just because he is hurt after being checked into the boards? I think that's what a lot of people were thinking when Malone hit Jessie Martin.
Wilbur Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 O'Donnell possibly being hurt, and the likely scenario that Grimaldi won't be back makes this hill that much tougher to climb for this team. Talk about an unlucky year for injuries.
siouxforeverbaby Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Less than a minute to go in the game
siouxforeverbaby Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 6 to 2 is final. Tough loss tonight, very tough
siouxforeverbaby Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Scrum. ONe of the refs just pushed Blood over
Wilbur Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Because 1. Checking into the boards is illegal anyway...that is called boarding. 2. A good portion of the time, a ref will call a penalty when someone gets hurt, but not always. Ummm. Checking into the boards is not illegal.
ticklethetwine Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Not a bad weekend for the sioux. Disappointed in the effort tonight though. We let the gofers off the hook. If we are out another forward(O'Donnell) it is going to be a tough go.
Hawkster Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Split. Not good tonight, but not much can be said either.
siouxforeverbaby Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Ummm. Checking into the boards is not illegal. Boarding SECTION 3. A player shall not body check, cross-check, elbow, charge or trip an opponent from the front or side in such a manner that causes the opponent to be thrown violently into the boards That is out of the NCAA rulebook
Wilbur Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 That is out of the NCAA rulebook Notice it says "violently" into the boards. Checking into the boards is very legal in hockey. Please, someone back me up.
Wilbur Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Blood should be suspended. Minnesota is lucky that Jake Hansen hid like a little school girl, or Blood would be suspended for killing him in front of everyone on the ice.
shortbusguy Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 ^^^And thats something to be proud of. You people wonder why everyone calls UND goons.
bigpoppa Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Stay classy Blood. Good series and then typical ND B.S. We won't miss you in the B1G 10.
Wilbur Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 ^^^And thats something to be proud of. You people wonder why everyone calls UND goons. And you wonder why everyone calls the gophers a bunch of weak little pansies....it is what it is...
sprig Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 Stay classy Blood. Good series and then typical ND B.S. We won't miss you in the B1G 10. The slash on the back of Blood's leg by a Gopher coming off the bench started the mess. That was classy.
bigpoppa Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 And you wonder why everyone calls the gophers a bunch of weak little pansies....it is what it is... The past few years, no argument from me. This year, we're tougher.......but I don't think it's too much too ask to shake hands and act like an adult. Blood is a moron. It's a re-occuring them with the No-Names - "We're so tough" - whatever - we'll take a split on the road.
Wilbur Posted January 15, 2012 Posted January 15, 2012 The slash on the back of Blood's leg by a Gopher coming off the bench started the mess. That was classy. That would have been Jake Hansen. Who then proceeded to hide behind his entire team.
