jimdahl Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 TShirts, Bumper Stickers, Magnets. You know, I was actually planning merchandise (to the point that I have exclusive prototypes) right when the big name issue blew up. It didn't seem prudent to make a big push when the name was likely to change very soon... who knew it would drag out this long? 1 Quote
dagies Posted September 23, 2011 Posted September 23, 2011 Maybe you'll have to do something nostalgic, like all existing posters can buy a "I used to be a SiouxSportster" or something. Wow, is that lame. Someone can do better. 1 Quote

You should get that sh*t made before the name change....vintage SS.com gear. Don't make me go to vistaprint.com right now. Quote
Big A HG Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 The word "Sioux" by itself isn't owned by UND. "The Sioux", "Fighting Sioux", "North Dakota", "UND", "The University of North Dakota" are though. I think you would be safe with anything you want to produce that has "SiouxSports" on it. Quote

I am going to go out on a limb and guess, "the sioux," "north dakota," are indeed not owned by "UND" like you claim. Quote
