UND Fan Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 UND beat Chicago State by 10 this afternoon. I listened to it now and then - we were down by 3 at half but came back well in the 2nd half. Lots of 3s but another lousy day on the FT line. Over 50% on 3s, less than 50% on FTs. Huff had 20+. Quote
GeauxSioux Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Nice win by the SIoux. Down by in the first half, cut it to 3 at the half and pull out the win. According the piece in the herald, the bench came up big. Still need to work on their free throws. These guys are going to be fun to watch over the next few years. Quote
sioux2013 Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Very nice win with the bench coming up huge. Starters did not score much with the exception of Huff but Allard, Anderson and Benter played huge. 12 wins and counting. This team could finish above .500 for the year and that would be a great season. Several very tough games coming up. Go Sioux Quote
bincitysioux Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 Didn't get to listen to the game save for bits and pieces..................Brekke played just 11 minutes. How come.......fouls, injury, other? Quote

Cratter Posted February 13, 2011 Posted February 13, 2011 The World Record for 2,750 consecutive free throws is Dr. Tom Amberry and he went to UND, and has worked with the Chicago Bulls. Maybe he can work with UND too. http://www.freethrow.com/FreeThrow/DrTomInfo.htm Quote

I don't understand how it's possible for a supposed Division 1 team (or any team) to shoot so poorly from the free throw line. It's already cost them one game. Quote

It's already cost them one game. Its obviously in their heads. They were shooting very well as a team until that Utah Valley game and since then its been not so good. Anderson and Schuler are both over 82% and solid but the rest of the team seems to go as the first few free throws taken go. If whomever makes the first few then the rest seem to follow but if they start out missing they seem to follow the misses with the exception of above. Quote
