Diggler Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 I think this pic is much better than the one Minnesota NorthStar likes. The guy with the black cap and the anti-Gopher shirt is much better looking too. Quote

CoteauRinkRat Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 Great pics. The sweep salute with the "losers" leaving the ice has got to be a desktop I'm thinking the same thing. Quote
Sioux Fan Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 Great pics, thanks! I especially like the shots of the fans. Makes me feel like I'm there............ kinda. Quote
YaneA Posted November 12, 2003 Posted November 12, 2003 Tremendous pictures! My neighbor kids are going to be thrilled to see the signs they helped with included in the gallery. Thanks, Kirk. P.S. How Come the Ralph doesn't use these in its Fan Zone? Quote
margaritaville Posted November 13, 2003 Author Posted November 13, 2003 Great pictures, thanks. Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted November 13, 2003 Posted November 13, 2003 can we quote any more quotes in our replies? lol Quote
KirkEisenbeis Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 I replaced the stick salute image with a larger one so you can make better PC desktop wallpaper. (171 KB) You can get it from the gallery page, or right-click this picture and Save Target As: Kirk Quote
Fedorov Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 Since you said it was better, I replaced the original picture from early and used the new one. Now it is blurry. What setting do I need to change? Quote
Diggler Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 Try right clicking on the desktop-->properties--->background tab--->underpicutre display choose center. If that doesn't work, ask someone who is smarter than me. Quote
Fedorov Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 If I choose center instead of stretch, it is very small and just in the center of the screen. Quote
Diggler Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 Click on this picture, it should open in a new window. Then right click on the new bigger picture and set as wallpaper/background. Quote
sioux fan in phoenix Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 Thx for the idea, Diggler, my computer finally has some style... Quote
CoteauRinkRat Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 Thx for the idea, Diggler, my computer finally has some style... At least the computer does. lol kidding siouxfan Quote
sprig Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 If I choose center instead of stretch, it is very small and just in the center of the screen. Best if you have graphic editing software to resize the pic to your screen resolution. If you don't know what it is, right click your desktop, and choose properties, then the settings tab. Kirk's pic is 1280x960, a larger format than I started with when I resized to screen resolutions, so should be better quality. (Thanks Kirk) If you don't have editing software, post your resolution and I'll get a link to a resized pic. If you do have editing software, use Kirk's suggestion to right click the pic, then "save target as", and save to whatever directory you choose for editing. The editing jpg should go in the \windows\web\wallpaper directory (win xp) or the \windows directory to be available in your desktop setting background tab. Quote
sioux fan in phoenix Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 At least the computer does. lol kidding siouxfan Why I oughta...oh, good one Quote
Fedorov Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 Click on this picture, it should open in a new window. Then right click on the new bigger picture and set as wallpaper/background. Thank you, that worked. I realize that I probably could set my computer up with better resolution and use Sprig's ideas, but I have never figured that stuff out. I just wanted the picture to be clear that we swept the Gophers. Quote
sioux fan in phoenix Posted November 14, 2003 Posted November 14, 2003 The sizing on mine turned out just fine. The players are smack dab in the middle & the picture encompasses the whole screen, with good resolution to boot... Quote
