UND92,96 Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 why are you guys playing all of these terrible transition teams? is UND looking to get into the big sky still? i heard that before That's what the Great West is--a haven for (mostly) new dI schools with no real conference yet. The general consensus is that UND will join the Summit league in a few years. Quote
82SiouxGuy Posted February 21, 2010 Posted February 21, 2010 why are you guys playing all of these terrible transition teams? is UND looking to get into the big sky still? i heard that before We are playing them because we joined a "transitional" league to give us some games at a time of year when everyone else is busy with league games. Most schools don't like to schedule very many out of conference games in January and February. Plus being in a league, even a transitional league, gives the teams something to play for other than just pride. UND is still looking for an autobid conference home for the long term. The Big Sky and the Summit are the 2 that make the most sense, but the Big Sky doesn't have any interest in adding schools at this time or adding schools in the Central time zone. So the Summit is a more likely potential home. Quote
dakotadan Posted February 21, 2010 Author Posted February 21, 2010 Bledsoe surpasses 1,000 points, Sioux trump Utah Valley on Family Day The victory was only part of it as Bledsoe Quote
sioux2013 Posted February 22, 2010 Posted February 22, 2010 Congratulations to Travis. The men are looking very good as of late. Very few turnovers and are shooting the rock very well. The offense is flowing so much better and faster than early in the year. Good job guys and lets keep it rolling. Quote
