2-1 wisco Kangas just broke his stick

EDIT: Wow they just disallowed the goal and even the gopher homers are saying they disagree with it. The goal was fine.

But now Woog has recanted and says he agrees with the no goal call because the Wisco player had momentum going into the goalie, even though he was grabbed and ?pushed? in my Weirs (sp?)

Hmm. another goal by Wisco.

2-1 WI

The FSN broadcast in the first intermission brought back some fond memories of 1979. Last game of the season, winner gets the WCHA title, at the old Williams Arena, UND vs Minnesota, 4-2 but the outcome was in doubt the whole way until Christian blasted a slapshot into the empty net. I don't think I was ever so hoarse as that night.

I think that was a goal and the refs blew it.

I was talking to the Medivac pilot while we waited for the weather to clear. Turned out he's from Orr, Minnesota and a WCHA hockey fan. Said that when UAA was D2, you had to stand in line for season tickets every year and they were sold out every year. He's disappointed in the fan base. He lives in Sitka now. Conversation was all about hockey. He can't stand Dasher Dancin' Gwoz, either!!
