What in the world are you asking? ;)

Oops..sorry. Finals are killing me so pardon my spelling. I would hope you could figure it out thought :0 Im sure you saw the goal or did you not? The player was basically in the crease, almost hitting the goalie, before the puck even came close to entering the crease. Whats the rule on that in the NHL now. The commentators never mentioned a thing about it so I guess I was just curious on the ruling in the NHL now

I got it now though so nevermind

So why even have a crease now?

In short, you can't interfer with the goalie in the crease. I thought the same thing, I thought he kinda interfered with the goalie, but the goalie was so lost I don't think the slight contact mattered. I couple years back with the old in the crease rules that goal would have been disallowed.

You sure? Better run that by Brett Hull or Dominick Hasek. Hull has a ring despite it and Hasek was robbed because it wasn't enforced.

I actually didn't see the play. I was guessing that you meant the crease rule. Just giving some grief, but I see I forgot the smiley. :)

although not a former Sioux, he is former WCHA, so i found it to be interesting. Brett Sterling ( form. CC Tigers) was named the AHL rookie of the month for November for his performance with the Chicago Wolves. Other Nominees included Joe Pavelski, Robbie Earl (UW, Toronto Marlies), and Marty Sertich (CC, Iowa Stars)

Sterling: AHL Rookie of the Month

other former WCHA rookies in the AHL include (excluding UND):

Danny Irmen (UM, Houston Aeros)

David Backes (MSUM, Peoria Rivermen)

Ryan Potulny (UM, Philadelphia Phantoms)
