sioux7>5
Yep, most quality musicians are. I saw ZZ Top years ago in Bismarck and to this day one of the worst concerts I have ever seen. They just stood there and it was lip synched and the music was also tracked. It was horrible.
siouxlove
Are they the guys with the four foot long beards who look more like Amish farmers then musicians?
Goon
I would rather see someone like 38 special they were awesome in concert.
Godsmack
Funny, I saw ZZ Top a couple years ago at Country Jam (of all things) in Grand Junction and they were really good. Billy Gibbons has some of the best guitar tone-recorded or live-that I've ever heard. I just picked up the new ZZ Top Live From Texas dvd and it's really good. My only complaint was that it wasn't a double dvd, as they have so many great songs that were not included on the disc.

I saw them at BSU in the early 1990's in 1992 or 1993 and they were really good they didn't have one bad notes and the guitar was unbelievable. Not one bad note because it was a pre-recorded. When I saw them, there was no way they were actually playing.
jloos
I find it pretty hard to believe ZZ top would lip synch a concert. They are one of the great American blues/rock bands. You Tube them if you want to see what they are like now. I last saw them live about 5 years ago and they put on a great show. Billy Gibbons is one of the greatest blues guitarists of all time. tjbison
Seen ZZtop in Sturgis this year, one word HORRIBLE, first song sounded ok considering the age, lost his voice after that. I would consider saving the money for something else!! just my opinion and what was seen by the 8 of us that went.
