SiouxCrioux1 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Can't get my order to go through... Anyone having luck? No luck for me either seems as if they are gone already.
SoonersNSioux Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 I think the online system is jacked up. We're going to head down to the Ralph instead. (should of done that in the first place I guess).
SiouxCrioux1 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 I think the online system is jacked up. We're going to head down to the Ralph instead. (should of done that in the first place I guess). Id be there but im out of town so this system was my only luck.
mikeypat15 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 From what I've been told no one is even at the Ralph, the thought that there isn't even 1 tickets available makes me think something is not right.
Brasco Posted February 24, 2008 Author Posted February 24, 2008 From what I've been told no one is even at the Ralph, the thought that there isn't even 1 tickets available makes me think something is not right. Went to the Ralph...Huge line
mikeypat15 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Went to the Ralph...Huge line Anybody there?
SoonersNSioux Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Apparently the system crashed (what a surprise) and they won't start selling tickets at the Ralph till they can get the online stuff sorted out. So in other words, no one has a clue.
Brasco Posted February 24, 2008 Author Posted February 24, 2008 Anybody there? As many people are at the Ralph as the day we picked up regular student tickets
mikeypat15 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 As many people are at the Ralph as the day we picked up regular student tickets No like Box office reps, are they selling tickets?
SoonersNSioux Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 No like Box office reps, are they selling tickets? Nope, because the online system crashed.
Diggler Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 It's wonderful how this seems to happen every time tickets go on sale for students and great how it's always someone else's fault. Never UND's. It has no bearing on me, but still it's a complete joke.
SoonersNSioux Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 ONLINE IS NOW WORKING ONLINE IS NOW WORKING!!!
Brasco Posted February 24, 2008 Author Posted February 24, 2008 ONLINE IS NOW WORKING ONLINE IS NOW WORKING!!! Yep, got mine!
Diggler Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 None of the people at the ticket office got lower bowl tickets.
mikeypat15 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 None of the people at the ticket office got lower bowl tickets. I know Diggs I hope the students call for someones head in this incident, 2 times in 3 years
Sioux_Yeah_Yeah Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 None of the people at the ticket office got lower bowl tickets. Yeah and that's gay cuz we were the ones who waited in the (somewhat) cold for 3 hours and the people who bought them off Ticketbastard didn't do anything except sit in their rooms....
Siouxmama Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Yeah and that's gay cuz we were the ones who waited in the (somewhat) cold for 3 hours and the people who bought them off Ticketbastard didn't do anything except sit in their rooms.... No slam here, but the choice is always yours.
Sioux_Yeah_Yeah Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 No slam here, but the choice is always yours. Yes and we all knew that, but it shows a little more dedication by standing in line for 3 hours than sitting on your A$$ and getting them
LeftyZL Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Yes and we all knew that, but it shows a little more dedication by standing in line for 3 hours than sitting on your A$$ and getting them Try telling that to a computer... From an outsider's perspective, it's silly to stand in line now than do it on ticketmaster. Even if you're one of the first few in line, you gotta wait your turn one-by-one.
Diggler Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 No slam here, but the choice is always yours. The problem is that UND/REA doesn't plan these things well. It's like they don't see things like this occurring and I don't understand why given the number of times it's already happened. It happened last year for season tickets and this year too I believe. Now it happens for the playoff tickets. What is the deal exactly? There is obviously a problem somewhere. Hockey tickets are the big thing for students and there really should be a better system for it. Perhaps these things always happening is partially the student government's fault because they don't demand a good system. I don't know. But it's just stupid. I know a bunch of people who waited in line for tickets, why shouldn't they have first opportunity to get them? Why do students have to plan and scheme about every possible outcome just because you know something will go wrong? It's silly. I think a simple solution would be to have online tickets to go on sale 1 hour after they go on sale at the ticket office.
SiouxCrioux1 Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Yes and we all knew that, but it shows a little more dedication by standing in line for 3 hours than sitting on your A$$ and getting them How about those who arent in town? I agree with you and would have been there in line myself had I been in town. But not everyone that gets them on the internet is not dedicated and sitting on their ass.
Stromer Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 Did the online sales get lower bowl? It seems to me it sold out pretty fast. It works a lot better when the students are on break. Last year I got some in the 4th row in the lower bowl hours after they went on sale.
Stromer Posted February 24, 2008 Posted February 24, 2008 How about those who arent in town? I agree with you and would have been there in line myself had I been in town. But not everyone that gets them on the internet is not dedicated and sitting on their ass. I see your point. The best scenario would be to have them go on sale at the same time, but only allow the online sales to purchase 1 ticket. The box office still would sell up to 4. If you are out of town, you can still get tickets but if you want to sit with some one, your friends should already be waiting in line. Solves both problems.
