Gopher fans care more where players come from than anybody in the nation. You folks are so proud of your Minnesota boys that players from other teams hometowns get mentioned in every sentence that appears in print. Also - you go so far as to BOO players from Minnesota that decide not to play for the goofs ie. Z.P. Oh yes, a few years ago when Prpich scored one of his goals at the John - one one your more intelligent and hockey savy fans said to me "well, at least he's a good Minnesotan boy"

I agree - plus the only two games I saw at the Ralph this year were the the two with St. Cloud. It would be very nice to get even on our ice.

We do pretty good for such a small program - comparatively speaking of course.

But they may not air the consolation game even if the Goofs are playing - lord knows 1/2 their fans do not show up for those games

Actually - I looked and it seems as if 1 in 10 aren't whinning as much as the others as to how unfair it would be. The arrogance still is abundant however.

Personally - I would like to see the Goofs season conclude at the Ralph. Let them watch the Frozen 4 at home on TV. Most folks here feel that the trip to Milwaukee is certain - I would like to see their arrogance squished and then listen to all the excuses afterwards.

yep - or the #4 seed would force the Goofs out east as well

perhaps - but I believe that the arena will half full to see BC play Alabama the first day and (heaven forbid) the same for a BC - Harvard championship game. Doesn't the #1 seed get the closest venue for this very reason - so their fans have a better opportunity to go to the games? I know many folks that have already made reservations in GF - but won't or can't go to Albany.
