Never mind. I spent too much money the last two weekends and my wife showed me that I can't afford this whole trip. I will be looking for a ticket to the championship game between the Sioux and the Blackbears though.

All that means to me (if even somewhat authentic) is that the the Fighting Sioux name will never be changed.

I think what happened is that the Gophs convinced themselves that "these games didn't matter anyway" and fell victim to their own arrogance.

Does anybody have a recording of the Sioux/HC game that I could pay for a copy? Before I left, I set my DVR to record the game with an 8:00pm start as I was pretty certain that we would be playing the Gophs. We all know that this was not the case and I felt that I would be unable to talk my wife through the process of changing the times. I thought there there may be some rebroadcasts this week - but I'm unable to find anything of the like. BTW - I missed the end of the Michigan game for obvious reasons, and am looking for a copy of that as well if possible

I agree - thats what happened with the Sioux and Sconny on the Friday semi at the X. The Sioux had a one goal lead going into the 3rd - they dumped the puck and kept 3 guys back the whole period. Good for us, but kind of a boring to watch if you don't have a horse in the race.

Yep - thats what the gal behind me said. She was actually alittle upset (prior to the game) that she didn't buy a bunch to sell for what she paid for them as she felt that there would be a alot of empty seats Saturday night. As it turns out, they were apparently snapped up by Sioux fans anyway as that place was packed with loud and proud folks in green and white.

My guess is the Radisson as that is where to Alum Chater flight folks are staying.

What really helped the noise level in the Ralph on Saturday was all the Goph fans selling their tickets to Sioux fans on Friday - for $5.00 apiece
