    2015 Recruiting

Every coaching staff takes a risk on recruiting "kids",because, really, thats what they are, Kids. Some coaches do not recruit in inner city or latin(in Miami, especially)communities.Others coaches won't get out of there. I am a person who would take a chance on someone who I feel can make me better. If it doesn't workout, let him go. Not all risk are bad. UMiami got rid of a highly touted qb yesterday whose brother played for Miami,TE Greg Olsen. The brother got suspended for the 3rdtime and they told him, leave or you are gone. And he supposedly wasn't a risk. You never know. I'm not here saying change the recruiting strategy,I'm just saying try and you will be surprised. My son is 17, early graduate, defending 8a state champ in Fl, starting fullback. He has interest from Cincinatti, Kentucky, Wagner, FIU. these are the kids that will help a team. He's 5'11' weighs 220. Everybody wants a 6'2" 235. But trust me, the 5"11 kids will work harder because they have more to prove. If not ask Sprowles. Example if UND offered today, my son would commit. These kids just want to play. BTW UND 13 SB 10 or maybe even sb 17 UND 14 Thanks for letting me part of such a good board. GO SIOUXXX

    2015 Recruiting

I agree with you, Midwest linemen and LB's. CA for QB's. TX SKILL. FL SKILL. Hands down, Midwest has the best linemen. BIG TEN makes a living off of that.

    2015 Recruiting

Just a tidbit. Please don't get me wrong, I feel it can be done. I think the cold has nothing to do with it, it where the kids feel at home; Kids from Florida at super cold schools: Wisconsin 11 Indiana 11 Syracuse 14 OSU 5 WVU 22 NDSU 7

I know winters can be brutal, but anything outside of Miami in the winter is brutal for these kids. lol

    2015 Recruiting

Speaking of which, this topic hits me home. Tim Brewster was MN head coach. Got fired and became FSU te/ recruiting coordinator. What did FSU do? Bill Miller, MN LB coach. Now as of last year, FSU LB coach. Coach Kill sat and told me in my son's high school football coaches office, "I will treat him like my son, and he will never lose his scholarship." He forget to say my redheaded freckle face stepson and he won't lose his scholarship unless I don't want him anymore. Never gave me a reason as to why Jordan lost it. But, if it wasn't for the 3 POWER PUFF UNIVERSITIES he plays at the beginning of the year, he would not go to a bowl. mediocrity at its best. Sorry, had to get that off my chest again.

    2015 Recruiting

Hey guys tough loss last week. Let's hope for a good bounce back. I've noticed UND recruits a lot in CANADA. I have an opinion; in order to win you need talent. the hotbed for talent is South Florida. Example, last year there was a QB, Kaleel Render. Probably the best QB 've seen. No one picked him up because of grades. I would take a chance and have him sit out a season and tutor him to the max. There are so many players that don't get picked up in South Florida, they end up going to JUCO. S. Sla is a hotbed for football and a definite swagger. Miami has a bad rap because kids feel they are so good that they should play immediately. Coaches don't like that. Give me heart and passion and a player who wants to play than a player who's there just to say he got offered. Those twins you guys talk about seem good. Haven't heard much about them. They might be sleepers. Their school plays in a week district where linemen weigh 240-250 tops. But with that said, they have some impressive numbers. Look at every big time school and see how many Florida boys are on the roster. GO SIOUXXXX
  8. A win is a win. That brings confidence. Lets see how we respond. Should we have scored more? Should we be in such a tight game with RMU? Answer to both is NOOOOOO. But you know what, we are getting better. I really believe Bubba, "Day by Day". BTW, Auburn 59 SJSU 13
  9. Once again, tough game. With what almost everybody says here, this will be a coaching game because we have no talent. Some people measure talent based on size and speed, which, of course, is extremely important. But only a few can see the fight and passion a player has. Yes the D is undersized at the line, yes our D as whole lacked a little. And yes, Ratelle is playing good ball. But how about the ba!!$ and freakin heart that d had. 3 takeaways, TFL's, blocked FG's, etc. yes RMU rushed for over 200 yards, yes the had more first downs, more passing yards and more TOP. How many 3 and outs did we have and our D held there own; balls and heart got it done. Bent but didn't break. IMO, those attributes are being instilled. Changing the mindset of some of these student athletes. That is where the wining starts. GOOOO MOTHER F-ING SIOOOUUUXXX!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. WOW!!!!! Let's just cancel the rest of the season.

    RM Predictions

Maybe even: UND 17 RMU 14
  12. \UND 24 RMU 17 Both teams have a lot to prove
  13. Guys, we should be excited. A game under a new regime that we can really see the progress of the team. What I like the most is the mindset these coaches have instilled in these men. As some of you may know, my son plays for UND, and I talk to him every single day. Coaches in FCS have to work harder as do the players. In the BIG 10, for example, they don't like you or they think your not good enough, there is always someone in line just as good. These coaches actually teach. Unlike in the FBS5, they don't teach as much because you have 5 star recruits that are just animals from day 1; I.E., Jadaveon Clowney, Manziel, Hageman, etc. The top tier teams don't recruit, they reload. Also the boosters are out of control. With that said, this coaching staff seems genuine. The are somewhat humbled because of what they got into, but, at the same time, they are excited because they feel they can make a change. The team is receptive and they work hard. I see ba!!$ on this team. Watching on tv, they did not back down. San Jose beat us because they're talent was more experienced. I say, if would've played SJSU on game 7 it's not 42-10. I'm not saying we win, but it's not a blowout. A few tackles instead of missed tackles, We could've had 2 INT's. I mean, it was just jitters and a few feet away from making major plays. I'm looking fwd to this season. We are not going 8-3, but I feel we are not going 3-8 either. Guys, my opinion. Glad to be a part of the SIOUX NATION!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. Guys, Sorry. Forgot to get info and forgot the thread you gave me the info on. In Miami, where can I live stream the game again? Thanks.
  15. As for the game thread, did anybody really think we were going to win or even play well? Did you think the coaches were going to show anything special for this game? My opinion is they knew what was going to happen. For all of you saying SJSU is not a good team, your wrong. High profile offense. Not a Auburn, FSU, Bama, but a good FBS team. you take this as a scrimmage and see whats wrong. For a first year coach to come here with the "problems you on this thread said he inherited", Hell, we did pretty good. Yes we do have ALL undersized linemen. But, $h!t, they ALL showed heart. Evryone showed heart. That is enough in a game like this. Face it, we got out matched. For what you want to say, D1 is D1 and teams will get better talent than any D1-AA, D2, etc. Use this game as a measuring stick, not as season determining. Next week is when it counts. Like wise do not measure SJSU on this game, measure them next week against Auburn. Listen, I do not want to sound like I'm coach of the year or Mr. Experience; with that said, Jordan has won everywhere since high school, and I've been there. His brother is a class 8A state champ in football in Florida last season at LB. Minnesota had a winning season. Im saying this, UND will have a POSITIVE year this year. Mark my words. We will surprise the Bison fans. Yes those bison fans who forgot what a piece of $h!t they were a few years ago and come here and think that team walks on water. Our time will come sooner than later. Bubba BALL will surprise everyone.
  16. We did get blown out. With that said, we didn't look that bad. The oline played well for being a first year together. The running game at times was very nice. The dline played well with just not having the proper angles at time, including my boy. Which is taken care of with repetition. For what the score says, it was a blowout. But I feel very good about this team and the staff. The team never quit and I did not see them get down. I feel good about the things to come.

    Fall Camp

Guys, I'm excited. Football is here!!!!!!!!! I believe that we can't say what are record will be. I won't say because I'm unfamiliar with the conference. As for the depth chart, that is for now. Trust me, after the first game, there will be changes, I think. We have to trust the coaches on their decisions (I'm biased). We will see on the 28th how it all pans out. But, as for me, I'M glad 94 has a chance to be a part of this program. It's been a long time coming. I've been told the defense is looking good and solid. GOOOO SIOOOUUUUXXX!!!!!!!!!!!!! After this game, where can I stream or what package does Comcast have to the games? Thanks
