That's what happens when you crap the bed 2 weeks in a row mid season. Depth killed this team for a postseason run. Bubba will get us their next year. At least they ended the season on a high note!
have to get better at defending the pass, need our corners to grow up or replace. Our pass defense was still a glaring weakness, look at all the losses, it was from passing. Reyes is a stud tackler, needs to improve in the pass game. We still have a glaring weakness at free safety and need more depth in the secondary to have a competent nickel package.

Ya, he was nothing special.(His freshman year). He actually got pretty darn good and I know him and Schmitty met a few times. To your point, Bubba and Schmitty and their version of the 3-4 is predicated on stopping the run. I know it goes back to Dale Lennon, the 3-4, predicated on stopping the triple option NDSU was running at the time. Bubba has years of experience and design behind him and Scmitty played against triple option. I think Schmitty played against it or did NDSU drop the option after Feeny?
like I said, Bubba stops the triple option in his sleep-

I believe that, why bid to play away from your home field in the snow with so many domes around you?

how does this work? Does a high bid help you get in? Seems assbackwards.
SDSU has a backup field that holds 10,000. UNI dome holds much more, but maybe SDSU still bid higher $$.
Just a guess, but I think we have enough teams covered to host.......like a S. Utah.

Did anyone else see 4 guys on the dive back while the QB runs free.......? I guess we are trying to tire him out. If anything I expect the defense to be more assignment sharp after playing against it for a half.

we need another element to the d package when teams go pass happy, yes, but mostly we need to work on positioning and ball skills. A lot of times we were really close, just need to win more 1 on 1 battles.
