Jones should redshirt 1 or 2 of the freshman ....but he does not seem big on redshirting...collins could have redshirted but jones played him. I guess we will find out tonight if anyone is redshirted.

Buchanan is a scoring guard for Kingdom. He likes to slash to the rim and showed quickness and fearlessness in doing so. He has the upside to be tough in transition as well. Given his size and frame, Buchanan sorely needs to develop his on-ball skills so he can become more of a point guard than off guard. He certainly has the ability to get into the lane, now adding facilitator to his list of traits is most important to see a bump in his stock. Adding a more consistent jumper would help as well. Despite the flaws, Buchanan led Kingdom with 19 points in a win over Wisconsin Playground Warriors.

■ Tray Buchanan, East Moline United Twp. This one is maybe the most perplexing of all. The highly-productive Buchanan, a 6-1 combo guard, doesn’t have a single offer at any level. None. Buchanan is officially in his own club as the Hoops Report’s best senior player in Illinois without a single offer. As a junior he led UT with 20 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals a game while putting up monster numbers in two sectional wins.
