Obviously This is a do or die year for Jones....I was the only one that knew Jones was 100% Safe prior seasons despite almost everyone hear saying he was gone...not bragging just stating the facts..folks. Not happy with most of his recruits for 16 and 17 classes , The league is getting stronger and next year the BSC will be tougher. Jones has been an exercise in being an ok coach....this year he needs to bring home some brass IMO. Reasonable probability that a new coach will not be better than Jones ...but sometimes change becomes necessary for the sake of change.

UND needs a win here to maintain status as a top 5 BSC team...Despite an experienced starting 5 their RPI is near the bottom at 334...Katz conference record is 41-89 despite having easy access to Ca. Talent....Jones is almost like John Wooden compared to this guy....UND needs to flex some muscle at this cracker box gym...

hooker was better last year playing on one leg...he ends up on the floor a lot and the other team has a 5 on 4 break....UND has lousy in bounds plays always a struggle to get the ball in play

no coaches were evaluating their team and other BSC independent of teams from ACC, BIG 12, BIG EAST ECT... Also the top 7 BSC teams have a higher mean RPI than the top 7 teams closed out last season with....

you miss the obvious...coaches were referring to BSC teams only....they were not evaluating the strength non conference teams they play this year relative to prior years...very simple if you think about it.. You must think that the coaches are all liars/con men or know less about basketball then you do!

Several coaches told Blue Ribbon that the BSC is more talented then it has been in years....A coach could say the league is solid vs very strong.... The coaches were referring to the BSC teams not the OOC teams they play.

top 5 get a bye....4 plays 5 in round 2. Getting a top 3 BSC finish is a solid plus

With respect to reading comprehension aptitude...I NEVER said that UND is not a serious contender to win the BSC....I am of the opinion that there are 5 BSC teams very capable of winning BSC Tourney including UND...Furthermore the BSC is not down this year ...as you should know the top 5 teams from last year all return at least 4 starters To suggest that UND is the prohibitive favorite to win the BSC is completely irrational.... Coach Evans on BSC...Evans on upcoming conference campaign: “I know one thing: our league is very, very good. I’ve watched Montana played several times and they are really good. I think North Dakota (5-5) is really good. I think Weber is really good even though Coach (Randy) Rahe isn’t where he wants to be (5-6 overall). Eastern Washington is obviously doing something right (8-5 overall). Montana State has done a really good job of winning games (5-8 overall). Anybody that wants to underestimate this league is not thinking

if you have watched UND and all other teams play, looked at the results and think UND has played much better than any other BSC team...than you must be blind in one eye and unable to see out of the other!

CBS Now picks Eastern Washington to win....Team Rankings.com has Weber winning at all with a 35% chance...RPI has Current RPI predicts UND as 7th best team in BSC...Obviously there is no consensus on who the top team in BSC is.

last year he picked kentucky to win it all after preseason...if you look at his DEC. Brackets and compare them to NCAA tourney results...there are tons of mistakes every year.. furthermore a pick to win the conference does not mean that he believes a team has a greater than 50% chance of winning only an opinion that a team has a better chance than any ONE other team. yup if we played with more discipline we should have no problem winning at the 8th highest scoring and 7th highest team in steals ...in the country...yup a teams season should be defined by how they played their last 2 games. Yup basketball genius portland state does have 3 Texas kids and 2 California kids on roster.....
